Southport Friends of Palestine Walks the Wall!

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us.

Every year the Amos Trust invites thousands of runners worldwide to join with 10,000 Palestinian runners who run the Palestine marathon in Bethlehem.

2nd November marked the 107th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, when the UK government decided to support the formation of a Jewish state in the historic land of Palestine, regardless of the wishes of the Palestinians who lived there. Palestinians see this as the start of over a century of dispossession.

So, on the 2nd of November we Walked the Wall.
