Boycott Success! Puma drops sponsorship of Israeli Football Association

Puma announced in December 2023 that it will not be renewing its sponsorship of the Israel Football Association (IFA) after pressure from campaigners and boycott calls since 2018. The contract does not expire until December 2024 so until then, Puma is still complicit and the boycott will remain.

The boycott began in 2018 over accusations that Puma’s support for the Israel Football Association (IFA) helped legitimise Israel’s illegal settlement activities on Palestinian land.

The years of relentless, global BDS pressure on PUMA and the damage to its image should be a lesson to all companies supporting Israeli apartheid, that complicity has consequences.
