“This week I’ve been conducting a little research. People I know en passant - in the butcher’s shop, at the swimming pool, in the pub have each been asked the same question, prefaced by the same remarks “I mean nothing by this and there’s no “right” answer”. Each reply has been met by my response “that’s the perfect answer, thank you”. If only I believed my own words in that moment, then I truly believe that the world would be a better, kinder, more humane place.”

“By any estimation the availability of graphic images of dead and dying civilians in Gaza (70% of whom have been women and children) is unprecedented in the history of modern conflicts. In the face of the overwhelmingly cruel bloodlust demonstrated by the Israel Defence Force, which to date has acted with apparent impunity and legal immunity (consider alone the failure to prosecute the sadistic sodomists of Force 100, the “prison guards” and torturers of hundreds of men and children in Sde Teiman) it’s crucial that as clear a picture of the extent of Israel’s genocide, as the various agencies which at some stage will hopefully be charged with the task, is obtained.”

The Netanyahu government has made its intentions clear: Gaza is the first mile on a journey Israel believes it can make towards the establishment of Greater Israel as Netanyahu described when addressing the 78th Session of the United Nations’ General Assembly 22 September 2023; the ambitions of Israel’s extremist settler colonial government and the greater part of its 6 million Jewish inhabitants have since however grown.”
